Easy Alfredo
3 tbs butter
2 tbs olive oil
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 cup Parmesan cheese
2/3 cup mozzarella
- In a sauce pan, melt the butter. Add olive oil and stir to combine.
- Add in heavy cream, garlic and black pepper, stir until it starts to boil.
- Add cheese and continue to stir until cheese melts and sauce begins to thicken. (This is where you could throw in cooked shrimp or chicken.)
- Serve over cooked pasta.

If you have gone into the archives of this blog you will see a white pasta recipe. And as much as I loved it, it was often finicky and had to be served and eaten when it’s still as hot as lava. This recipe is just as easy (maybe easier) and is so much more user friendly. I made this recipe for the first time for my parent’s anniversary and it had been a commonly requested meal ever since.
