Brownies
Brownies
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup unsweetened coco powder
1/2 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup (115 g) butter, melted
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1. Mix all the dry ingredients together. (You can stop at this step and save it for later, it fits perfectly in a mason jar.)
2. Mix in the wet ingredients (and nuts if you'd like).
3. Pour into a lined (with either parchment paper or aluminum foil) 8-inch square pan.
4. Bake at 175* C (350* F) for 25-30 minutes (until the center doesn't jiggle when you shake the pan).

Who doesn't love brownies! Whether you're an edge piece or a middle piece kind of person, few people would turn down a brownie. At the same time people assume that homemade brownies are difficult. This recipe totally busts that myth. They are SO easy to make and you probably have most of the ingredients on hand.
